The Power of Hydration: How HydraFacial works
WHAT IS A HYDRAFACIAL?
HydraFacial is a multi-step cosmetic skin treatment that readily brightens the skin and rids the skin of dead skin cells and impurities in the face. A HydraFacial uses unique, non-invasive skin surfacing technology which restores your skin to a youthful and healthy appearance.
At the same time, it hydrates and moisturizes the skin with cleansing serums made with nourishing ingredients that create an instantly gratifying facial glow. This treatment for the face is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective, making the HydraFacial skin treatment popular choice for those looking to dramatically improve the appearance of their skin instantly.
THE TREATMENT INCORPORATES 6 STAGES;
STEP 1 – CLEANSING AND EXFOLIATION
Gently eliminate dead skin cells to unveil a rejuvenated, healthy complexion. Concurrently, a serum infused with lactic acid, glucosamine, and an array of botanical extracts penetrates deep into the skin, purifying and revitalizing it.
STEP 2 – GLYSAL PEEL
A gentle 30% Medical Peel from HydraFacial comprising glycolic and salicylic acids is applied to loosen debris within your pores, preparing the skin for the extraction phase while enhancing its overall radiance.
STEP 3 – EXTRACTIO
Effortlessly remove blackheads and draw out impurities from congested areas using a serum rich in natural salicylic acid and honey extract.
STEP 4 – HYDRATION
HydraFacial’s innovative Vortex-Fusion technology administers a blend of hydrating hyaluronic acid and a potent concoction of cutting-edge antioxidants, peptides, and multi-peptides. This revitalizes the skin, leaving it deeply moisturized, plumped, and in optimal health.
STEP 5 – BOOSTER APPLICATION
This step uses personalised boosters to address skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, anti-aging and deydration. Your nurse practitioner will discuss the most suitable booster to acheive your goals.
STEP 6 – REJUVENATION
Utilizing red and infrared LED light, we reduce redness, stimulate collagen production, and promote a radiant complexion. Additionally, this light supports the skin’s natural synthesis of vitamin D, enhancing its overall glow.
HOW DOES A HYDRAFACIAL WORK?
The HydraFacial treatment starts by cleansing the skin and removing the dead skin cells and excess sebum from the skin. This is followed by a mix of salicylic and glycolic acid which is applied to the skin to break up the dirt and oil which may be clogging the skin and pores.
The HydraFacial tip is then used to blast fluid onto your face which pushes trapped dirt out of your pores which is then essentially vacuumed up along with blackheads, dirt, oil and impurities.
This is all done while simultaneously hydrating, plumping and nourishing serums are applied to your skin!
