Obagi peels, rejuvenates and de-pigments any type of skin. The Nu-Derm creams contain hydroquinone, which slows down pigment-producing cells, and tretinoin, a Vitamin A based ingredient that removes excess pigmentation, softens wrinkles and rejuvenates. The patented system allows ingredients to deeply penetrate the skin.

The Obagi Nu-Derm system is suitable for all skin types, but as the ingredients are prescription strength, there are some short-term side effects such as redness, tightness and peeling. A thorough consultation will advise you on managing side effects. Generally, the more of a reaction you get, the better the results.

During your consultation you will be given a personalised 6 - 12 week course of Obagi Nu-Derm creams containing tretinoin and hydroquinone. You will apply about 5 creams every morning and evening, including an SPF. Reviews are scheduled after 2 weeks and again after 4 weeks.

You will be advised to continue with a maintenance regime and daily SPF. Keeping to a healthy lifestyle and diet helps maintain skin in good condition long-term.
